Gulfport PD: Officer injured after being hit by vehicle while on motorcycle

GULFPORT, Miss. (WLOX) - A Gulfport Police Department officer was injured after being hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Dedeaux Road and Highway 49, according to officials.

According to officials, the officer was on his way to a call when he was struck by a vehicle while on his motorcycle.

The scene is now clear. The officer was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries.
