|Today, the dew point temperatures will rise sharply ahead of the incoming rain. Temperatures will be milder reaching the mid to upper 60s this afternoon. Rain chances today will rise, especially as we head later in the day. Tonight, we will expect scattered showers, some will be heavy at times. Also, not everyone will see rain. We are going to see higher chances for rain Friday into Saturday. During that timeframe, the weather will be wet but warm with temps in the 70s. The more widespread showers could have some thunderstorms embedded. There is a low chance (level 1 out of 5) for strong storms, containing gusty winds and/or flooding rainfall for Friday and Saturday. During that timeframe, flooding rain, isolated tornadoes, and strong thunderstorm gusts can’t be ruled out. Turning drier and cooler by Monday into next week.
