Tonight will be mild with mostly cloudy skies and a few showers possible. This weekend should hold a little more sunshine with only the slightest chance for scattered, light showers. It will be warm on Saturday with highs in the low to mid 70s. Our first of two fronts arrives Saturday. The air will be a bit drier for Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Sunday morning will be chilly in the 40s. We expect more clouds to start rolling into the area Sunday afternoon. First Alert: the new week brings a threat for stronger storms, especially north of the coastal areas. Though coastal thunderstorms can’t be ruled out completely. A powerful frontal system will move into the area late Monday night into Tuesday morning, bringing with it the threat for gusty winds and heavy rain.
