It’s going to be another hot one today! We’ll be in the upper 80s and low 90s this afternoon with a partly cloudy sky. Many of us won’t see any rain, but a few isolated showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening. Our rain chances will increase a little bit Monday through Wednesday. Happy first day of fall! We officially began the new season at 1:50 AM. It has been mild this morning, but we will heat up into the upper 80s and low 90s this afternoon. From WOAT to DOAT? We had almost 100 inches of rain in 2021, Gulfport-Biloxi's wettest year of all time. And for 2023 so far we've only seen 25 inches of rain. If the year ended today, it'd be our driest of all time. And even if we see normal rainfall for the rest of the year, it could still rank in the top 5 driest years.
