Today will be beautiful and warmer with highs in the low to mid 70s along the coast and mid to upper 70s inland. We will be more humid and have a few passing clouds, but we do not expect any rain today. We will be moving into a wetter pattern over the next several days. By late Friday, we will see more widespread showers as a frontal system will pass through South Mississippi in the early morning hours of Saturday. Things should clear out by Saturday afternoon. But rain chances return for the day on Sunday, Monday and early Tuesday. Temperatures will stay mild for the next seven days.

Tonight, the rain cooled air is nice for those who saw rain, but it is hot and humid for those who dodged the showers. We expect some clearing with low temperatures in the upper 60s inland and low 70s along the coast. Thursday will be another hot and humid day with scattered showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will be hot in the low 90s with feels like temperatures in the mid to upper 90s.
