Nicholls State brings coast talent back to MGM Park

While Nicholls State came into town to square off against Mississippi State at MGM Park, it also served as a homecoming for two members of the Colonels squad, Picayune alum Kade Turnage and former Gulfport admiral Cade Crosby.
Greta Ainsworth has spent nearly 30 years teaching and coaching basketball on the Coast. Throughout her 14 years at Pass, she led the lady pirates to the Sweet 16 on 12 separate occasions.
Cuevas showed versatility throughout her time with the Pirates, playing all five positions between her junior and senior seasons. Off the court, Cuevas leads by example and excels in the classroom.
