Widespread damage across northern Mississippi after tornadoes leave a trail of destruction nearly 100 miles long. 26 people dead, dozens injured and parts of the state are now in recovery mode. Our Jamiee Dorris and Noah Noble are on the ground in Sharkey County.

A South Mississippi woman is battling cancer and is in need of serious medical assistance. In response to Ashley Blair’s cry, the Long Beach community is helping raises funds for her treatments.

Sunday will be warm and humid with highs in the mid to upper 70s with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of these storms may be strong to severe with large hail and isolated damaging wind gusts possible. Some may be severe with isolated damaging wind gusts and large hail being the main concern. Not all of us will see rain, but those who do see rain, it could be light. The t-storms with the highest potential for destructive weather are currently expected to stay to our north. A damp pattern will stick around through Monday and Tuesday. High pressure is still expected to dry our weather up by the middle of next week.
