Taylor's Sunday GMM First Alert Forecast

We are going to see mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and a few thunderstorms. Some of the thunderstorms could produce very heavy rain and gusty winds. If we see excessive rainfall over our already saturated areas, we could see some localized flash flooding. If you come to a road covered in water, turn around and find an alternate path. This weekend will be a mixed bag with scattered showers and thunderstorms each day. We will see rain-free hours and some peeks of sunshine here and there. It will be humid, but temps should hover in the 80s thanks to the cloud cover and rain.

Widespread showers & thunderstorms have fallen in South Mississippi today. We are going to be mostly cloudy with showers and possible thunderstorms this evening. More heavy rain on top of the saturating rain we have already seen could lead to some localized flooding. Friday, we expect more widespread showers and thunderstorms. Saturday, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms.

Widespread downpours & thunderstorms have fallen in South Mississippi this morning. We are going to be mostly cloudy with continued showers and possible thunderstorms for the rest of the day. More heavy rain on top of the saturating rain we have already seen could lead to some localized flooding. Within some of the thunderstorms, downpours and damaging thunderstorms will be possible. Friday, we expect more widespread showers and thunderstorms. Saturday, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms.

There's plenty of moisture in our local atmosphere, thanks in part to a nearby stalled front. This will keep us under a wet weather pattern for the next few days.
