|It's been a classic summer day in South Mississippi! It will stay very warm and humid through the evening. There have been some isolated showers, abut many of us have stayed dry today. Only isolated showers and storms are possible on Thursday and Friday. It's going to be hot and humid with highs in the low to mid 90s. Here's the latest forecast.

|We are expecting a more typical summertime day across South Mississippi today. Highs are going to be in the upper 80s to low 90s. We are already seeing a few isolated showers and storms popping up late this morning. We are going to see more afternoon showers and storms pop up, but these are not expected to be widespread like the past two days. Tonight, any showers will dissipate, and it will be warm and muggy with temps in the 70s. Thursday will be another hot and humid day with an even lower chance for showers. Highs will be in the low to mid 90s. The heat index will be 98° to 106°. Heading into the weekend, we expect afternoon showers and thunderstorms and highs in the 90s. Stay cool and hydrated.
