We've had some hit or miss showers and storms this evening. A few more may linger tonight ahead of a cold front. While the evening will be warm and humid, drier air will move in by Wednesday morning. This cold front will help us to dry out and cool down through the end of the week.

Today is the last day of summer, and it's going to be hot and humid. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Some pop-up showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening. A cold front may spark a few more showers overnight tonight. Much drier and cooler air will be moving in by Wednesday and Thursday.

Summer making it’s last swing tonight with a line of showers and storms. They are losing a lot of intensity and dissipating as they race south. Lows will stay in the mid 70s, and we could see some fog in the overnight and early morning hours before the front passes. A strong cold front will move into South Mississippi tonight, and lows could drop into the upper 60s and low 70s before sunrise. There will be much cooler and drier air moving in behind the front, just in time for fall which officially begins Wednesday at 2:20 PM.

Rain chances will be lower tonight, but a few showers can't be ruled out. Tuesday will be our last hot and humid day. Pop-up showers and storms will be possible. A big cold front will move in by Wednesday, and it will turn cooler and drier by the end of the week.
