Grab the rain gear for the next few days, just to be be safe. We are going to see some scattered showers this evening and tonight. Tomorrow, we will see more rain headed toward the area associated with a cold front. Tuesday storms could pack a bit a of a punch, and they could last into early Wednesday morning. We could see some pockets of heavy rainfall with some strong thunderstorms mixed in. A few storms could be strong to severe. And flooding rainfall can’t be ruled out. For now, the main threats with any of these possible severe thunderstorms are expected to be damaging straight line winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes. Stay weather aware. It could be a damp Wednesday as the front slowly moves away from the area. By Thursday, drier weather with lower humidity takes over and it will last through the weekend. A few showers can’t be ruled out on Sunday and Sunday night.
