Today is the last day of summer, and it's going to be hot and humid. Highs will be in the upper 80s. Some pop-up showers and storms are possible this afternoon and evening. A cold front may spark a few more showers overnight tonight. Much drier and cooler air will be moving in by Wednesday and Thursday.

The Biloxi Shuckers, MGM Park, and the City of Biloxi can all host events there, but only one event is currently scheduled after baseball season ends.

Some parents remain weary about getting their children vaccinated, while others are ready to get their child the first dose. Singing River Health System's Dr. Tyler Sexton says, "It looks great, and I'll be the first to get my daughter vaccinated, she's six years old and I'll be the first in line."
