The Heat Advisory was allowed to expire at 6 PM this evening. We are going to be warm and muggy again tonight. Lows will fall into the upper 70s to low 80s, but it will still feel like it is in the upper 80s to low 90s overnight. Wednesday is going to be another scorcher with temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s and heat index values over the century mark. Thursday, we expect to see another hot and humid day with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon hours. By Friday, heading into and through the holiday weekend, we are expecting higher rain chances across South Mississippi. It does not look like a washout, but it does look like we are going to see more numerous scattered showers and thunderstorms in south Mississippi through the holiday weekend.
