Carrie's Midday First Alert Forecast

We are going to see the fog continue to mix out as our temperatures warm into the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the 70s, and it will be warm and muggy. We will see some of the fog sticking around along the coast today and over the coastal waters. We could see some isolated showers today, too. Once the sun sets, the fog will return and spread inland. We are going to be mild overnight with temps in the 60s once again. A weak front is moving toward South Mississippi and will bring us a slight increase in rain chances through the day on Thursday. Once the front passes, we are going to see some slightly cooler temperatures move in and the fog move out. Friday will be a nice day with partly to mostly cloudy skies and isolated showers. It will be slightly cooler with highs in the 60s. Saturday, a more powerful front will move toward the area bringing a slight rise in temps and humidity, scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. Behind the front, it will feel a lot more like winter with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s and 40s.
