A front is situated right over South Mississippi. It may trigger a few afternoon showers and storms, but it will not be the coverage or intensity of yesterday. You still may want your umbrella, just in case. Tonight will be mild with slightly lower humidity. It won’t be quite so muggy. You probably felt the difference this morning, too. We are going to feel not so hot for Friday with lower rain chances, too. Our rain chances and humidity return gradually over the weekend. We are going to see even higher rain chances on Sunday and Monday. The tropics are quiet for now. We are watching some long-range models for possible development next week. We’ll keep you posted.
