Tropics: 5-3-19 Florida disturbance remains no threat to South MS

Hurricane season doesn't officially start until June 1st. But, there's already a disturbance trying to spin up near the Bahamas that the National Hurricane Center is watching. Little to no development is expected with this disturbance during the next couple of days as it moves generally northeastward along the southeast coast of the United States. Thankfully, an upper trough will drive a front toward the Gulf Coast region this weekend and that should keep this disturbance east of us. It is not expected to impact South MS.
