Chevron Hiring 800 Employees in Pascagoula

The hiring process began today to fill 800 new jobs at Chevron's Pascagoula refinery. Seventy people turned in applications at the temporary hiring offices on Highway 63. The refinery needs extra workers because of a $150 million expansion.

The hiring is being done in two phases. The first began today and will hire about 300 people. The second phase begins in October when an additional 500 people will be needed.
