Three cars set on fire overnight in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - Authorities are searching for answers after three cars were set on fire in Jackson County. The vehicles were burned in the early morning hours of Monday at two different locations, said the sheriff.

Two of the cars were parked at a house in the Latimer community. They were discovered ablaze around 2:45 a.m. A third vehicle parked at Oak Ridge Apartments in St. Martin was set on fire around 5 a.m., said authorities.

Sheriff Mike Ezell said they are working to find out if both arson cases are connected. No suspects have been identified at this time.
