PASCAGOULA, MS (WLOX) - Flames destroyed a home in the Robinhood subdivision of Pascagoula on Monday, and now investigators are working to find out what sparked the blaze.
Fire Inspector Troy Whitmore said firefighters responded to the inferno on Friar Tuck Ave. around 11:45 a.m.
Whitmore said crews were able to extinguish the flames in about 30 minutes, but firefighters worked for hours to put out hotspots.
Whitmore said the flames ignited in the back of the home and spread throughout the house. He said two people live at the residence, but no one was home when the fire roared through.
