D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - D'Iberville's city manager is planning to retire soon. Bobby Eleuterius told WLOX News he will submit his retirement letter to the city council at Tuesday's meeting.

Eleuterius, 70, said he wants to use his retirement to spend more time with his family. He became D'Iberville's city manager when turmoil at city hall required someone with his skill set to steer the ship for a little bit.

Eleuterius joked what he thought would be a one year job became a three year commitment.  And in that time, he's proud to say the city flourished.

Eleuterius said his plan is to remain the city manager until June 1.
