SAUCIER, MS (WLOX) - Investigators in Harrison County are trying to figure out what sparked a fire at a home in the Saucier Lizana community.

Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan said they received a call concerning a house fire on Herman Ladner road just after 7:00 p.m. Tuesday night.

Sullivan said it was neighbors who spotted the blaze.

When crews arrived they found the fire had overtaken much of the home.

It took firefighters from the Lizana, Saucier and Harrison County fire department about 15 minutes to put the blaze out.

No one was home at the time of the fire and no one was injured.

Sullivan said the fire caused heavy damage and the home is more than likely a total loss.
