(RNN) - Two reports of 2016 Polaris RZR XP Turbo recreational off-highway vehicles catching fire prompted the company to urge owners to stop using the 2,230 recalled vehicles immediately and to contact their local dealers for free repairs.
No injuries have been reported, the company said.
The oil drain line on the vehicles can leak, posing a fire hazard, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission said in a recall alert.
Polaris said it is sending a recall letter to each registered owner.
The company has posted online a list of the recalled vehicles' Vehicle Identification numbers - 3NSVDE925GF454105 through 3NSVDE923GF459495 - and says the numbers are not sequential and the recall does not include all VINs in the range. The VIN is located on the driver's side rear frame rail, above the PVT cover.
The recalled vehicles were sold in graphite, orange and blue color schemes from September 2015 through November 2015 for about $25,000.
Polaris can be phoned at 888-704-5290.
The CPSC requests that consumers report incidents concerning the vehicles either online at www.SaferProducts.gov or by phone at 800-638-2772.
