D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - The two victims of a fatal car crash on Highway 67 Friday morning were a brother and sister. Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove said Amanda Ward, 16, was driving the Nissan Altima. Jimmy Ward, Jr, 14, was the passenger. Both were students at D'Iberville High School.
Mississippi Highway Patrol officials said an F-150 truck was headed north on Hwy 67 when it collided with a Nissan Altima crossing on to Big John Road.
Officials have not identified the occupants of the truck, but did say both were juveniles. The driver of the truck was not injured. The truck's passenger was taken to Biloxi Regional with minor injuries.
According to a recent post on Facebook, Amanda Ward just received her driver's license 10 days ago.
