Police looking for men accused of cashing forged checks

STONE COUNTY, MS (WLOX) - The Stone County Sheriff's Department is asking for your help identifying two men suspected of cashing forged checks at multiple locations along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Captain Eddie Rogers, with the Stone County Sheriff's Department, contacted WLOX News to help get the word out.

Rogers said the two men passed forged checks on February 24 at Walmart in Pass Christian and Waveland and also at the Hollywood Casino in Bay St. Louis. He said the men were driving a silver Dodge pickup truck.

Rogers said one of the men is using the alias Joseph Rowell. The men are also wanted on charges of false pretense for using fake identification.

"I need to know who they are," said Rogers.
