D'IBERVILLE, MS (WLOX) - Todd Harrell has been found guilty of DUI and not wearing a seatbelt, both of which are misdemeanors.

The former bassist of 3 Doors Down was in court yesterday in D'Iberville to face the charges from a 2011 accident. He's accused of running a flashing red light and ramming a truck last July.

Judge David McVeay took the case under advisement Thursday, and announced his decision Friday morning.

Prosecutors argued that Harrell was under the influence of prescription drugs. But they weren't able to admit evidence from the state crime lab in court Thursday, because the person who drew Harrell's blood wasn't in court.

Harrell also faces a much more serious charge of vehicular homicide in Nashville from an accident in April. Police said Harrell had narcotics on him when he was arrested for that charge.
