Tea partiers protest in D'Iberville

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - Tea partiers marched Saturday on the new I-110 flyover in D'Iberville for what they call "Overpass for Impeachment".

Some wore President Barack Obama and Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton masks and other's carried signs saying "Honk for freedom" and "Let freedom ring. Impeach Obama".

The members of the South Mississippi Tea Party group were protesting against Obama's presidency.

They said they are trying to raise awareness and support by protesting on the side of a busy street. They've also compiled a list titled "112 Articles of Impeachment". With assertions that read: Obama's hollowing out our military and destroying our intelligence.

"We know impeachment maybe a little hard to accomplish. We're just trying to get attention on the fact that our country is being taken over by a one party rule; with a dictator on top, who's making laws all by himself," South Mississippi Tea partier Bayy Neyrey said.

The group will be protesting again at the beginning of next month.
