OCEAN SPRINGS, MS (WLOX) - After four years Jackson County Sheriff's deputies arrested a suspect in a 2008 case involving the theft of three guns, according to Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd.
Byrd said 29-year-old Christopher Gene Glover of St. Martin was arrested Friday and charged with one count of grand larceny. That charge stems after he allegedly took three guns worth a total of $1,325 from a St. Martin home.
He allegedly traded two of the guns to two separate individuals and sold the third at a pawnshop in Ocean Springs.
Two of the guns have been recovered and returned to the rightful owner. However, a .50-caliber Traditions Muzzleloader is still missing.
Glover was taken to the Jackson County Adult Detention Center Friday. He was later released on $1,000 bail.
If convicted of grand larceny, Glover faces up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
This investigation is ongoing.
