Biloxi grandma returns to post-Katrina Wisteria Lane

BILOXI, MS (WLOX) - After almost seven years, Nancy Tauzin is finally moving back to her home on Wisteria Lane in Biloxi. Her old home of more than four decades was destroyed in Hurricane Katrina.

The reconstruction project is thanks, in part, to a grant from Hope CDA. Tauzin also secured a bank loan to make the project financially possible.

Construction began in early 2012, and is complete thanks to volunteers from groups like The Congregational Church of New Canaan, Connecticut and Back Bay Mission of Biloxi.

Tauzin is most looking forward to hosting family dinners in her home, and inviting her grandchildren to spend the night. The 68-year-old said she feels blessed to call this place home, and she's forever grateful to Hope CDA for all their help.
