Boat fire chars Pass Christian vessel

PASS CHRISTIAN, MS (WLOX) - Pass Christian firefighters rushed to the city's harbor this morning and knocked down a boat fire before it spread.
We're told the vessel was tied up to a dock near Shaggy's Restaurant.
According to Pass Christian Mayor Chipper McDermott, fire teams did what they set out to do. They contained the fire to that boat. The damage to the vessel was quite extensive. Mayor McDermott told WLOX News the boat was so charred, it looked a lot like a barbeque pit.
Al Showers was at the harbor as firemen battled the boat fire. You'll see video from that fire later today on WLOX News and on WLOX.com.
