Officials: Shooter may have acted in self defense

WAVELAND, MS (WLOX) - The Hancock County Sheriff's Office told WLOX that the man killed in the shooting at a home on Kiln-Waveland Cutoff Road in Waveland is Louie Matranga.
Few details on Saturday's shooting have been released. However, Hancock County Sheriff's officials said they have identified the shooter.
Officials said they have not taken the shooter into custody because they are investigating the possibility that the shooter may have acted in self defense.
