Alligator removed from swimming pool by Pass Christian firefighters

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss. (WLOX) — On Saturday, an alligator’s pool day was cut short by firefighters in Pass Christian.
According to a Facebook post made by the Pass Christian Fire Department, officials were called by a homeowner to remove the scaly visitor.
“People often think the fire department only responds to fires, but in the last few weeks, we’ve dealt with flooding, storm response, medical emergencies, vehicle accidents, public service calls, and now alligator eviction services,” the department wrote. “We’re still waiting on someone to call us about aliens, but at this point, we wouldn’t be surprised.”
The alligator, dubbed “Gary” by first responders, was relocated safely with no reported injuries.
