Heat index has already hit the mid to upper 90s just before noon! A hot afternoon on the way for sure unless we can get some pop-up t-storms to help some of us

Hot 90s are on the way for this afternoon. After plenty of morning sunshine, the sky may become partly cloudy into the afternoon. And, a few pop-up t-storms may develop this afternoon into the evening. As is typical with hit-or-miss t-storms, some will see rain and some won’t. If the showers actually develop, then that’ll help to cool it off.
