Can you believe Mardi Gras Day was exactly two weeks ago? And spring officially begins in just under two weeks from today. It sure has felt like spring with many days of above-normal temperatures recently. That does not change today. Plan on another round of spring-like warmth with highs in the lower to mid 80s which will be near-record warmth for our area. Thanks partly to a stalling front nearby, there will be a chance for hit-or-miss rain showers for the next few days. Not everyone will see rain. And those that do see rain will also have many rain-free hours throughout the day as well. Rain amounts through the next few days should mostly remain less than a half-inch. By late Friday, a cool front will arrive on the MS Coast. Behind that front, we’ll enjoy a brief drop in humidity Saturday. More humidity may return on Sunday with a chance for hit/miss showers.
