The winds will increase tonight. As a cold front approaches the area, we are going to stay warm and humid ahead of the front. We expect more showers and a possible storms in the early morning hours of Friday as the cold front is passing through South Mississippi. The winds are going to blowing at 10-20 mph. Our potential for damaging t-storms is not zero, but it is very low.
Friday, the highs will likely be in the morning hours. Once the front passes, the temperatures will drop slightly, but the humidity will plummet making it feel more pleasant and noticeably less humid. By midday Friday, any rain should be done. Drier conditions set up for Friday PM into the weekend.
