After yesterday’s sunshine, it sure is cloudier today. There is only a slight chance to see a few isolated light rain showers today. After a chilly start in the 40s, temperatures have reached the milder 60s as we head into the afternoon. If we get a break in the clouds, a little sunshine may allow for highs to reach near 70 degrees. But, if it stays cloudy all day then expect highs only in the mid to upper 60s. Our pattern will stay milder, muggier, with slim chances for light rain from today through Wednesday. Then, this work week’s highest rain chance in South MS will be Wednesday night to Thursday morning as a system moves in from the west. It’ll turn drier and cooler for the second half of Thursday to Friday. Right now, the upcoming weekend looks to be on the wet side.
