Monday’s Forecast
Kicking off the new month with a pattern of daily showers and thunderstorms. Bring your raincoat and umbrella today with scattered thunderstorms likely occurring across South Mississippi. Flooding rain can’t be ruled out for parts of our area. High temperatures will reach the upper 80s with a south wind at 5 to 10 mph. Keep your rain gear handy tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday as the pattern stays wetter than usual for this time of year. Beyond that, rain chances are currently expected to decrease just in time for Friday and Saturday. Will it be completely rain-free on Friday and Saturday? Probably not. But Friday and Saturday could be less wet. The pattern late this week shows less atmospheric moisture available in our region which should mean fewer showers during that timeframe.
