Summer officially began at 4:13 AM today, and there is absolutely no is summer! We have already seen some showers, and we expect a few more scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon/evening, but not everyone will see rain. The good news with the showers and any thunderstorms are the clouds that come with it. That’s when we will feel a little relief.

Tonight will be dry, warm and humid with lows in the upper 70s to low 80s.

High pressure is setting up over the area, and we are expecting very hot temperatures with many people reaching the century mark on the thermometer. Wednesday will be even hotter. In fact, we are in for some gnarly heat; it is going to be dangerously hot with high in the 99°-101° range with a heat index near 112°. Try to keep yourself hydrated and cool.
