Crews battling large forest fire in Harrison County

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - Fire crews from Harrison County Fire Rescue responded to a large forest fire off of Highway 49 Sunday afternoon.
The fire happened on Grand Bay Boulevard near the Grand Bear Golf Course in Saucier. According to Harrison County Fire Chief Pat Sullivan, the fire reached approximately 350 acres. However, there are were no injuries and no structures caught on fire.
Harrison County Fire Rescue, the Mississippi Forestry Commission, firefighters and a helicopter all worked the scene.
At this time, the cause of the fire is unknown and it’s under investigation
