NEW ORLEANS, Lou. (WLOX) - If you are one to look into cryptic tweets, look no further than this one.
Alvin Kamara took to Twitter, suggesting he will take the field on Sunday against the Bears after being away from the team since last Friday. If he and wide receiver Michael Thomas each take the field, they will see the turf together for the first time in the Superdome since November 22 against Atlanta.
Thomas has been practicing over the last few days with the team, while Kamara has not. But being physically away from his teammates, doesn’t mean he hasn’t been involved.
“We’ve got the Zoom technology, the practice video, all of those things,” head coach Sean Payton said. “And I think I mentioned this yesterday, it really helps that he’s an extremely intelligent player. There’s a live video cam and we’ve had a number of things. I don’t want that to be the big story because we still have to wait and see if he’s able to play.”
