OXFORD, Miss. (WLOX) - The Ole Miss men’s basketball team fell to Wichita State for their first home loss of the young season.
Offensively, four starters for Ole Miss scored in double figures, including 20 from Devontae Shuler, but the Shockers went to the line 26 times and made all but four free throw attempts.
So while the Rebels took a step forward on the offensive side, it was the other side of the ball that Kermit Davis wasn’t in love with.
“If you tell yourself that you get 29 points off turnovers at home and make 9 threes, that you win the game,” Davis said. “But like I said, we couldn’t keep them off the line at the end. But I thought we had active hands and created some good offense.”
