STARKVILLE, Miss. (WLOX) - Mississippi State fell just short, but the Bulldogs played perhaps their best game since week 1′s win over LSU.
Will Rogers started at quarterback and completed 41 of his 52 passes for 336 yards and one touchdown - a toss to D’Iberville alum Jaden Walley.
“At first I recognized man coverage,” Walley said of the play. “I waited on Austin [Williams], and I cut off of him, and the ball was there. I caught it and used what God gave me to get into the end-zone. I felt like I could run better with the energy that we had as a team, it made me feel better about myself, it gave me a little confidence.”
