Pascagoula River Bridge closed due to semi-truck overturning

JACKSON COUNTY, Miss. (WLOX) - The Pascagoula River Bridge is closed due to a semi-truck overturning on I-10 East near the 66 mile marker.

MHP Trooper Cal Robertson told WLOX that the accident happened at the height of the storm. It was an overturned box truck on the eastbound side of the Pascagoula River Bridge.

Due to the current wind conditions, it’s prohibiting work crews from uprighting the truck.

Fortunately, the driver of the truck was not injured. And as of now, first responders and works crews are on the scene.
