Pleasant for South Mississippi

TD #22 forms in Gulf of Mexico

Carrie's 10 PM First Alert Forecast

We are seeing pleasant conditions tonight. Low tonight will fall into the low 70s. The dew points will be slightly higher until a front passes tomorrow. We are watching a front set to pass through Friday dropping our humidity and temps, especially into the weekend.

We turn our attention to the south to track Tropical Depression #22 in the southern Gulf of Mexico. The models agree through the first five days, but there is disagreement what will after in the 5 to 10 day range because of the weak steering currents in the upper atmosphere. We are going to keep an eye on it, and bring you the latest updates as we get them.

Our weekend and next week’s weather looks pretty nice. We will see low rain chances , 30%, for Saturday and Sunday. But only a 20% chance next week with highs in the low 80s and and lows in the low to mid 60s. Enjoy! Fall begins Tuesday, September 22nd.
