SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - The Wolf River reached a near-record crest of 14.46′ early Tuesday morning.
Overall, Tuesday is a day with lessening river flood impacts for most of us. The Tchoutacabouffa River near D’Iberville and the East Hobolochitto Creek are both no longer in flood.
However, flooding continues for other area rivers. Moderate to minor flooding is occurring or is forecast to occur at the Pearl, Wolf, Biloxi, and Pascagoula rivers as well as the West Hobolochitto Creek.
Here are the latest river forecasts from the National Weather Service River Forecast Center as of Tuesday morning May 14th:
After 10-15 inches of rain fell across Pearl River and Stone county between Friday night and Sunday morning, May 10-12, rivers are expected to stay in flood stage for several days.
