SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - The weather has been fairly quiet for this entire week. But that may change this weekend. A stalling frontal boundary will approach coastal Mississippi, leading to higher rain chances for Saturday.
Saturday will be warm with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected on Saturday, especially after noon. Some of Saturday’s thunderstorms could become strong and possibly even severe. A Slight Risk (level 2 of 5) for severe weather exists on Saturday with the primary threat being damaging thunderstorm wind gusts.
Lower rain chances will continue Sunday into next week with perhaps the best chance on Tuesday.
