Thousands without power across Gulf Coast as severe weather rolls in

SOUTH MISSISSIPPI (WLOX) - As severe weather rolls through the sate, residents across the Gulf Coast are experiencing power outages Thursday evening.

Out of Pearl River, Hancock and Harrison counties, 613 Coast Electric Power Association customers are experiencing outages.

Roughly 1,069 Mississippi Power customers are without power from Hancock, Harrison and Jackson counties.

Across Jackson and George counties 1,397 Singing River Electric customers are without power at the time of this report.
