No one was injured in the lightning strike or fire.
Lightning struck a homeowner’s shop in Gautier Thursday night but luckily, there’s no major damage.

GAUTIER, MS (WLOX) - Lightning struck a homeowner’s shop in Gautier Thursday night but luckily, there’s no major damage.
Jamie Oatis said he left his home around 6 p.m. to go out to dinner. He said while away, a neighbor called and said his shop was on fire. Oatis rushed back to find first responders battling a blaze at his home on Conventry Drive.
“Once I got home, I realized first responders were already here. I appreciate that. They said the lightning hit the right side, back side corner of my shop,” he said.
No one was injured in the lightning strike or fire.
