Expect partly sunny skies, warm temperatures and higher humidity on Wednesday with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. An Alert Day is in effect for tomorrow as a strong system will affect the area on Thursday. Severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado warnings will be possible as many damaging thunderstorms will be possible across coastal Mississippi on Thursday and Thursday night. Entire timing window for thunderstorms will be from around 1 PM Thursday to around 1 AM Friday with the very worst thunderstorms around 7 PM to 10 PM Thursday. Damaging winds, tornadoes - some strong, large hail, and torrential rainfall will all be possible across much of our region. Rainfall amounts of one to three inches with local amounts to five inches are possible. The cold front responsible for this bad weather will finally pass by Friday, allowing for cooler, clearer, and drier conditions heading into the upcoming weekend. Easter Sunday still looks pleasantly dry and seasonable.
