On Wednesday and Thursday, Keesler will conduct a two-day emergency response exercise to prepare for the upcoming air show, Thunder Over the Sound.

Personnel and visitors may experience extended gate wait times, no-notice gate closures, customer service delays and an increase in emergency service personnel moving in and around the installation due to the exercise. Visitors are advised to plan accordingly. Biloxi residents may also notice emergency service personnel moving in and around the installation due to the joint exercise.

Thunder Over the Sound will roar over the shores of Biloxi Beach May 4 and 5. Morning acts and static displays will take place at Keesler Air Force Base, in the afternoon event goers can watch the Thunderbirds along with other performers along the beach just off White Ave.

If you can’t make it to the show, you can catch it live on WLOX-ABC and on the WLOX News App from 3-5 p.m.!
