After the rain finishes moving through this morning, expect windy, sunny, and cold conditions to prevail into the afternoon. Temperatures will struggle to get out of the 40s. And the wind chill may be stuck in the 30s all day long. Tonight, partly cloudy and cold conditions are expected. Keep an eye out for any freeze and hard freeze warnings that may be issued for parts of our region tonight. Lows in the mid to upper 20s to the inland, and in the upper 20s to lower 30s along the coast. So, protect people, pets, and plants. In order for cold air to damage pipes in the part of the country, temperatures typically have to drop to colder than 26 degrees for several hours in a row and that is not in the forecast for our coastal region of Mississippi.
